Privacy Policy
This privacy policy applies to the RUTime app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Haeun Kim (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as
- Your device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address)
- The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages
- The time spent on the Application
- The operating system you use on your mobile device
The Application collects your device's location, which helps the Service Provider determine your approximate geographical location and make use of in below ways:
- Geolocation Services: The Service Provider utilizes location data to provide features such as personalized content, relevant recommendations, and location-based services.
- Analytics and Improvements: Aggregated and anonymized location data helps the Service Provider to analyze user behavior, identify trends, and improve the overall performance and functionality of the Application.
- Third-Party Services: Periodically, the Service Provider may transmit anonymized location data to external services. These services assist them in enhancing the Application and optimizing their offerings.
Calendar Access (Optional)
If you choose to enable the "Sync to Calendar App" feature, the Application will access your device's iOS Calendar to create and manage class schedule events and personal calendar events. Please note the following:
- Calendar sync is entirely optional and must be explicitly enabled by you within the Application.
- The Application only writes your class schedule and personal events that you have already created within the Application to your iOS Calendar. No external calendar data is read or collected.
- Calendar data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to the Service Provider's servers or any third-party services.
- You can disable calendar access at any time by turning off the sync toggle within the Application, or by revoking calendar permissions in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars.
- Disabling calendar sync does not automatically delete events already added to your iOS Calendar; those can be removed manually from the iOS Calendar app.
The Application does not use Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies to process your data or provide features.
